The history of the Monardo family is ancient and dates back to 3 generations ago when Mr. Domenico Monardo began producing the so-called Mostaccioli, a typical Sorianese product known in the various neighboring areas already at the beginning of the 1900s. Gradually the fame expands throughout Calabria thanks to other baked goods (Mandorlato, Biscotti da latte …) that Mastro Antonio Monardo produces in his family company
